Get Involved
Volunteering
Part of all volunteer duties is to SMILE. Remember, everyone is at the Jubilee to have fun. To the extent that everyone on our team can smile and be jovial, we can set the tone for a safe and fun weekend for everyone.
BAR: Volunteers must ensure that customers have bracelets that allow them access to the licensed area of the site – that all customers are 19 years of age or older. Ensure beverage tickets are legitimate. All beverage tickets must be destroyed (ripped in two) upon receipt. Any customers who appear overly intoxicated must be advised that they cannot continue to be served. Any customer complaints should be taken to the Beer Tent Supervisor. Other duties include ongoing cleanup, loading and unloading of product and recyclables. Most importantly be friendly, be polite and HAVE FUN!
GATE: Gate volunteers are our greeters, who get everyone’s evening off to a great start. Always be friendly and courteous. All persons with advance passes or those purchasing at the gate must be given a bracelet indicating if they are eligible for the Licensed Area or All Ages Area access. Request ID for anyone who appears under 25 years of age. If they cannot produce valid ID they must be given a non-drinking (All Ages Area) bracelet. Children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult, but cannot come and go as they please. No bracelets are given to anyone under 12 years of age.
BEVERAGE TICKET BOOTHS: Do not accept tips. One volunteer accepts cash while the other passes beverage tickets. Always check customers bracelets or request valid ID if in doubt.
