Jubilee Basics

The Jubilee is a signature Nova Scotia music event and mainstay of the local tourism industry. This 3-time Music Nova Scotia (MNS) Event of the Year recipient and 2-time ECMA Event of the Year nominee continues to be one of the best entertainment values in Atlantic Canada.

From its scenic outdoor setting on the East River, the Jubilee delivers one of the most intimate and engaging music experiences of its kind. The Jubilee is proud to carry on its tradition of setting the stage for the region's rising stars to perform alongside seasoned East Coast, Canadian and International acts.

The Jubilee takes place at Glasgow Square Theatre, an open-air amphitheatre on New Glasgow’s riverfront (155 Glasgow St). View Google Map

The Jubilee has two sections available for viewing the show, a Licensed Area and an All Ages Area. Admission/tickets can be purchased at the Box Office. Ticket holders can access the site at the Main Gate (B). ID checks and bracelets identify patrons under and over 19 years of age. All patrons must wear a bracelet to pass through the gates. A Licensed Area is accessed via a check-point (C) or via the Lower Gate (D), the Lower Gate is for Advance Ticket holders and VIP Pass holders (adults only). Government IDs may be requested at any time and all Nova Scotia liquor law rules, regulations and license conditions are in effect.

Concession stands with a variety of food and beverages are available in the All Ages Area. The Jubilee Gift Shop and Artist Merchandise tent is located next to the Gazebo in the All Ages Area. EMS (Emergency Services) and public lavatories are also located on-site.
